Right. Hope you all had a marvelous Christmas and quality time with your family and friends. I was very lucky again this year and thought I would share what I got with you.
I haven't taken pictures of everything but you'll get the idea :)
• Biggest gift is a Professional Mannequin Head / Styling head. (I'm not going to be too talkative about it now but will do in a minute!)
• Beautiful cloche with Violet flavoured sweets in :)
• Fancy Fake Eyelashes: purple ones and feathery black with dark teal polka dots on.
• Cute little mini chocolate cases
Santa Claus Necklace!
Tim Burton Biography
How To: Photography kind of Book

Rotary Cutter (for fabrics in general)

Very happy and grateful I received all that this year. I want to show you my mannequin as it may be involved in some new beauty articles or videos. YES, you heard me ;) I may take the YouTube project back to my life but probably only with hairstyles first. I feel most comfortable with doing hairstyles for the moment but hope it may change in the future!
I'm not going to talk about that too much because I do think it will be one of my 2013 resolutions and I plan on writing an article very soon to share all my resolutions with you all!
Here is Rose (that is her name) and a few hairstyles I've tried on her. I will probably do them in tutorials in the next year, let's hope I actually do it because I personally think they are absolutely stunning. Let me know what you had, what you think of Rose and tell me anything :)
Please don't mind the setting of the photographs, I was just too excited to wait and do it properly!

MY VERY FIRST GIVEAWAY :)

Bonjour BeautyAromers,

Today I'm happy to announce my very first GIVEAWAY!
It is a small one, don't get too excited but I thought I would try to make one happy person somewhere :)
Right, I know what is really exciting for you is the prize so let's hear it!
There will only be one winner and the prize is 2 pieces of jewellery, 2 rings to be precise.
There are both in a golden bronzy colour, my personal favourite ;) I have them both and thought I would offer you the opportunity to win one of each. See for yourself:

I've been thinking about what I should make you do for this giveaway, did not want to ask too much as it is a small first giveaway but I am not fond of the comments giveaways, maybe in the future if I have loads and loads of subscribers/followers and it is to hard to follow up but let's face it, not happening anytime soon!
So what I thought was, as I love christmas, the lights, the spirit, the snow, the festivity, etc., I want YOU to take the most beautiful picture of what this period represents to you or what you like about this time of year. You can take anything you like and make the most of it, any christmas lights, any reindeer you see flying in the sky, any decorations, family photo, ANYTHING representing what you like about this winter time of year. I'm sure almost everyone has a camera of some sort if not, let me know and we will sort it out.
I will personally pick the winner and choose the best photograph from the ones I received. (I may ask for some help from my family if it is too hard)
So to make everything clear, let's put everything into rules to enter this giveaway:

1 • Take the best photo ever
2 • Post it on my Facebook page or Twitter (#AromsGiveaway)
3 • Like my Facebook page and/or follow me on Twitter.
I'm not asking you to subscribe to my Youtube channel as it has been months since I posted a video, wanting to take some time to think about this whole YouTube thing but I may be back soon mostly for hairstyles... so feel free to subscribe if you want to (not required for the giveaway).
4 • Ending on the 21st of January, you will wait until the 22nd to get the results, I will announce them on here and on my other social media platforms or whatever you want to call it.
5 • This giveaway is international as I will be shipping the prizes to you myself :)
6 • Be over 16 or have your parents permission!

Have fun with it and hope to hear from you very soon!

CHRISTMASSY MOOD | D-15

Hey Boys and Girls :)

I haven't posted in a few days so thought I would just quickly post a few photographs of my Christmas decorations. It did change a bit and will improve in the next few days but it may give you some ideas :)
I can't believe Christmas is in 15 days, it doesn't seem like Christmas yet. There aren't many christmas lights outside, in town or anywhere I go, no presence of snow which is, let's admit it, VERY sad!
Anyway, hope you have a lovely countdown to christmas, would be happy to see your christmas decorations/ideas/crafts and different christmas related things. You can share them to my twitter account: @beautyaromers :)

Have a lovely week xxx

H&M MINI LIPSTICKS

HELLO THERE!
Here I am with a quick lipsticks review. I don't know about you but I've always wondered why H&M had so many lipglosses and no lipsticks. If you know me, you know I'm not a gloss person as I like matte on me.
Last time I was in there I told that to a friend whilst looking at their range of lip products and I saw these tiny but great key chain mini lipsticks.
They are available in 3 different shades: Plum Red, Perfect Red and Barely Pink.
I was looking for a nice dark burgundy colour for the fall and winter seasons but also needed to save my money for Christmas but when I saw the Plum Red one, I couldn't help but buy it and guess what? It was ONLY 1,95€, yes your heard me. BARGAIN
I couldn't wait to put it on and since I was going out with some friends, I did so and was quite impressed by the quality. I also bought the other two shades 2 days after that.
I'm not a massive fan of Barely Pink kind of colour on my lip as I can't seem to pull it off, it looks a bit too pale on my skin but I thought I would give it a try, we never know!
Also, everybody knows I'm a red lip lover so had to buy the Perfect Red one. You would be impressed with how long it lasts on the lips even after having something to eat. I just couldn't believe it for a 1.95€ lipstick.
What is good about them being keychains is that you can bring them everywhere you go along with your house keys or car keys and if you ever need to put a little something on, just use it. Very simple, very pigmented, very quick, very small and also very nice :)

Hope this made you want to buy them (cause I'm the shopping devil). Let me know if you do and tell me what you think of them!

RIMMEL LONDON | WAKE ME UP FOUNDATION

With my Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation:

Well Hello There!
Yes it is another review of another Great Product. I absolutely love Rimmel London and put it as my favourite on the feelunique.com website. It gives you 10% off your chosen favourite brand which is very useful for whenever you want to repurchase some of your must haves!
So I did buy a few Rimmel things lately and repurchased this Foundation as I loved it ever since I got it. I may do review on others Rimmel products if you like it or just do a Haul :)
Let's talk about the practical details now so we can move on to the actual review. Mine is in the shade 100 Ivory as I have a very fair skin. It is a 30ml glass bottle, with SPF 15, and costs £8.99 (10,39€).

Right, what is very positive about this foundation is its texture. It is very smooth and soft on your skin and feels light weight at least to me. It is also very natural looking as it a medium coverage. It does have an anti-fatigue effect and does wake up your skin as it says on the bottle which is very good when you did not have enough sleep. It is also said that it is a Radiant Glow effect which is also true. I quite like a bit of a glowy effect but it happened to be a tiny bit two much when I did not powder enough on top so I guess it depends on what you like. Don't get me wrong, it is not supra glowy but it can sometimes be if you're sweaty (mmmh) or have a particular oily skin day.

You should know that I don't tend to have oily skin, I'm more in the normal to combination skin type. It is very sensitive as I'm blond therefore have a very fair skin. Depending on the day it can either be a bit dry or oily around my nose and forehead but usually is quite normal which means I could probably wear any type of foundation.

As I used it a lot, I repurchased it before it was finished but I kind of got too used to it now so I should probably try another one before using my new one. I don't know about you but I feel like we have the tendency to get used to one thing which makes you stop appreciate just as much so... I may try either the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation or the Match Perfection. I sound like a Rimmel addict but it is quite a cheap but good quality brand so it usually worth its price.

So I've decided to attribute this foundation a.... ++

Also, I've been so excited about Christmas coming closer and closer and I'm trying to stop myself from putting the christmas decoration in my room too early but I may give up tonight or when it's 30 days before Christmas Eve...
I'll let you updated ;)

What is you current or favourite foundation? What would you recommend?

FAVOR DEAL - SKULLS AND SKELETONS

Hello BeautyAromers!

I recently made a purchase at the Favordeal website and thought I would review the two products I ordered. As I didn't know what to expect, I thought I would make a small purchase to see how good the quality was and if it was actually worth it as everything seem to be quite cheap. I've been wanting a skull bracelet but did not really know where to get it and when I saw it on the website for $4.04, I was very happy! It is called Vintage Fashiom Punk Skull Cuff Bracelet for anyone who would like to purchase this item! I got it in bronze (which is more of a golden) but you can get it in silver as well. When I received it, I was a bit scared as it looked really tight and impossible to stretch to let my wrist in but you can actually stretch it quite easily, you just need to stop thinking itwill break as it seems quite strong.
The other item I got was a Personalized Skull Antique Band Ring ($3,99). I must admit I was a bit disappointed as I imagined it to be much thiner and elegant but that is the risk with website photos. Also, it is quite a small size so be careful if you have big fingers (that sounds awful), I can only fit mine to my left hand finger as it is thiner than my right hand so always check all your fingers before getting upset or before deciding to return the item. Mine is in golden but just as the bracelet, you can get it in silver if you prefer.

So, my general thoughts on the FavorDeal website are quite positive. I do like the two items I purchased but I have to warn you that it does take quite a while to deliver. I ordered everything on the 14th of October and got them on the 3rd of November which makes a total of 3 weeks which is quite long when you now how fast it can be these days.
The good thing is I had a voucher so all this turned out to be quite cheap :)

I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you feel like going on the website, they do have some other pieces I love, I'm sure you'll find something that suits your style!

Are you going to order anything? Any recommendation? Any cheap but good jewellery website?

BURGUNDY SMOKY EYE

Hey Everyone,

I hate this kind of post as it makes me appear very narcissistic but it is just to do justice to the makeup. That being said, how are you all?
I've been wanting to use false eyelashes and a burgundy colour for quite a while and thought since I had some time today, I would try out a Burgundy Smoky Eye and show it to you :)
For this look, I used a KIKO Water eyeshadow in shade 203 Burgundy. It is a very nice colour that you can use wet as well as dry if you want to make the colour pop out a bit more. Those eyeshadows are really well pigmented and easy to use. I also purchased the 217 Mandarin  one as I have blue eyes and you probably know everything about the colour wheel thing. If not, I can do a proper post on that if you're interested!
I quite like this look as it is a tiny bit different than a normal Black Smoky Eye and looks just as gorgeous!
If anyone is interested, I am also wearing a KIKO Lavish Lips creamy lipgloss (05) which I will be reviewing soon.

I hope you like this look and maybe give it a try :)

As you may know, on thursday started the 60-days-until-Christmas Countdown. I wanted to share my little excitement and routine of Countdown before Christmas starting with the Christmas Movie Series :)
Yes, I love the silly and cheesy christmas films and every year when it gets really close to Christmas, I start a Christmas movie cure and try to watch as many great and cheesy films as possible to get into this Christmas atmosphere. This year, I will also try to start my christmas shopping ASAP for few reasons:
• It is always a nightmare to find things at the last minute because it is very crowded, you don't have time to think it through and rush everything which is never good.
• If you start now, it will FEEL like you've spent less when you actually spent A LOT but I quite like buying a lot of things and make people happy :) it just feels better when you don't spend that much money in a week or so but in 2 months!
• Also, you get time to pick things that you actually like and want to offer and won't feel all panicky when you're 4 days until Christmas and have literally nothing to give away.
The only bad thing is that you're dying to tell everyone what you got them and can't tell ANYTHING!
The last thing I want to do this year is having ACTUAL and proper Christmas decorations on. My parents never used to have anything else than a simple christmas tree and probably because I'm watching so many american films where they have so much things going on, I've always wanted my house to be a bit more Christmassy looking for this time of year! So I'll let you all know how all this is going.

Hope you have a marvellous weekend and I will speak to you later!

A TWO MONTHS LITTLE STORY...

That is right. This won't be a massive post, just an update and a thank you to anyone who reads my blog.
It's been two months already!
I can't believe it but I've survived the blogging experience for nearly two months now and it feels great. Not that it is hard to survive in that world but it used to be hard for me to write on a regular basis so I'm quite proud I'm sticking to it.
I've loving it so far and sharing one of my many passions with you all is fantastic, I always try my best and would love to hear back from you :)
If you have any suggestions or thoughts on anything, I would love to hear them!

I love the autumn spirit and am really happy everything is getting even more autumnal: the leaves are changing to gorgeous colours, it is getting darker outside, we have a fire most nights, we're getting close to Halloween and Christmas.
This reminds me I should buy a Pumpkin and do something really cool with it.
I had a bath this evening to relax myself because I think I need to release all the stress I have at the moment, and I've been feeling really exhausted and I think I may have some kind of deficiency or something.
Anyway, I need to have a good night sleep now because tomorrow's a big day: MUSE CONCERT :)

I hope you had a lovely weekend, I will speak to you all later!

FANCY 4 STRANDS PLAIT

Miserable with your long hair?

Today is saturday and I thought a new easy hair tutorial for the coming week would be great and I had a lot of compliments on it. It is really simple but looks quite fancy and complicated even though it doesn't take too much time to do.
I'm sure anybody can do it, as long as you have long enough hair as it does require a bit of length (no need for it to be as long as mine though)
I call it the FANCY 4 STRANDS PLAIT.
I put some pictures but I think that you will need to read my explanation really carefully and follow them very thoroughly. If you can't do it at first, take a breath and try again. If you're not used to all this, it may take a few times until you get it.

Right, let's start :)

What you will need:
- A brush to smoothe away all the knots before going any further
- 3 little elastics (I personally use clear ones as it does make it look more finished)

What you can do:
- Use a comb to tease the top of you hair as it may be quite flat due to the weight of the plait.
- Put any other accessory to make it more fancy: headband, flower clips, bows, etc.

So first what I did is put all my hair on the side just to make it easier but you can do it as you want it. What you want to do is tie them up in an elastic just to hold them.
What you want to do next is grab a little section of hair and do a simple three strand plait all the way to the bottom. This will be one of the 4 strands you'll be using for the full plait.
Once this step is achieved, you want to separate the rest of the hair in three equal strands.
Once you've done that you have 4 strands, one of which is the little braid if everything is right. What you need to understand is that I'm going to call the first one the outer one and the forth one the inner one.
The plaited strand normally needs to be the second strand as this will change everything  if it isn't (it is the third one on the picture but depending on how you look at it, it could be considered as the second, let's say the second or the third could work depending on how you start your braid afterwards).
Back to our sheeps, what you want to do is take the strand the further away from the plaited strand (here it is the outer one = the first one) and put it under the 2nd strand and over the third strand. If you follow me correctly, your plaited strand should now be the second one.
Once you've done that, take the inner strand (4) and bring it over the third strand and under the second strand. Now the braid should be back to its original position (the third strand).
You now want to repeat the exact same steps over and over again:
Outer strand, place it under and over.
Inner strand, place it over and under.
Do that all the way to the bottom and once you're finished, you can tie it up in an elastic. You can also pull the strands a bit to make the plait appear bigger and messier.

If this isn't clear AT ALL, let me know and I may do a video just so it is easier for you but I'm sure that if you take your time at reading and practice, it will be fine!
Because I have no one taking the pictures for me, I can't take pictures everytime I do a step without it being really complicated (I am holding four strands already!) so sorry about that :)
If you have any questions, let me know.

Hope you enjoyed it and hope you won't have too much trouble doing this hairstyle!

DIY FACE MASK for BLACK HEADS

(above: before using the gorgeous mask)

Yay, now you have your Homer Simpson look!
After removing the mask (I am sorry you can't really see a difference on the photos):

Hello Everyone, I'm back to share a great DIY recipe with you guys :)
I'm sure once you've tried it, you will absolutely love it. It works just as well as any industrial product and I would say 'even better'.
You don't need anything too fancy which is always a plus, it literally takes two minutes to create and is easy to apply.
Let's talk about the different ingredients and their role in the mask:

WHAT YOU NEED:
• A bowl and a teaspoon
• 2 teaspoonfuls of Flour
• 1/2 a teaspoonful of Turmeric
• 1 spoonful of Sweet Almond Oil
• Some Milk

This mask is essentially great to remove any black heads thanks to the turmeric but it can also work on any blemish or imperfection you may have. The oil and the milk help moisturizing your skin and leave it really soft.
If you can't find any Sweet Almond Oil, you can still use some basic Olive Oil.
The texture shouldn't be too liquid nor too solid. Try to recreate a normal mask texture so it is easy to apply with your fingers or brush (if you prefer using one).

Mix all these ingredients together, apply it on clean skin with clean fingers and leave it for a minimum of 10 minutes. I think it works even better when you leave it 30 to 40 minutes on. You shouldn't remove it before the mask dries off on the skin.
When it is time to remove it, you may want to spray your face with water just so it goes back to its former consistency and that way, it will come off more easily.

I try to use it everytime I feel it's needed and it does miracles, I must admit!
Don't be afraid of the colour, it should not leave your skin yellow or if it does, it will only be a tiny little bit and no one will even notice! Also, you may have some leftovers you want to share with a friend or anyone!

Leave me your impressions in the comments if you've tried it. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

I shall speak to you later, CHEERIO
